Ellen Worobec is the Director of Mentorship and Engagement for the Sales and Business Marketing Association. She is a Junior studying Sales and Business Marketing at Western Michigan University.
Ellen has been involved in this community since her Freshman year. She joined to grow her network, expand horizons, and learn from her peers in the business world. Her freshman year, Ellen competed at the University of Toledo Invitational Sales Competition placing 5th in the Freshman/Sophomore category kick starting her sales competition career. Her most recent competition she competed in was the Arizona Colligate Sales Competition where she placed 3rd in the marketing category. For 4 years, Ellen had worked as a Marketing Coordinator for a State Farm agent in the Chicagoland area, continuing to grow her knowledge of the business profession with real life experiences.
Ellen’s other involvement outside of SBMA includes her membership in the honors fraternity, Alpha Lambda Delta, and her sorority, Delta Zeta, where she held the positions of Vice President of Membership and External Social Chair. She now holds the position of Sunshine Chair. She has recently also become Brand Manager and Lead for Western's wine brand Bronconess Wine.
